This particular set up brought back some memories.
We have an i5 Lenovo Z50-70 Laptop with 8Gb memory, gt840 GPU and a 1TB disk.
There is also an i7 6700 HP laptop with a GT 960 GPU, 8Gb of memory and another 1Tb HDD.
A Sega Saturn, aPS4 Pro, PS3 Slim, PSP and a PS Vita.
An old Skool CRT Monitor and a much more up to date 22” Samsung LED TV.

Overall the the collection looks a little clustered and claustrophobic, Maybe ditch the CRT to open the Desk up and empty the shelves on the desk and store your consoles on them to really open it up. I cant say much about the chair as I have to put up with a similar chair at the moment. Possibly an upgrade after Christmas?

This one was posted on our Discord page but he never told me what his Steemit name was.
Anyhow, although this looks like a very clean setup not many details were provided, and the main reason it scored so low on this list.
The main PC in this is an i9 system (don't know which) with 4Tb of disk space and 2 r9 290's in crossfire I should imagine. A very big 32” monitor which I suspect is a TV. A pair of old Warfdale speakers, amp, mix board, midi keyboard, Guitar FX pedal, EQ board and a generic mouse and keyboard.

Aesthetically, this is one of the better looking setups in this list and maybe would have won had there been more details to judge. Underneath the cables look messy, but the top is top notch. Maybe a picture of the PC included will be good.

A very festive setup that should make it 320% better, but I'm Scrooge.. no, everyone should have done this in my opinion.
The PC is an i5 3750K system with 16Gb of memory and a very good RX 480 GPU on a Micro ATX gigabyte H61M motherboard.
Storage is a single 120Gb SSD and it is all housed in a Zalman Z1 Neo case.
He has an RGB Havit Magic Eagle Gaming keyboard and mouse combo (very nice) as well as a second Bluetooth mechanical keyboard.
For audio he has a set of EsySMX G291 headphones and a Audion 2 Genius 5.1 audio system.
The Christmas tree is plastic but it does have some vintage lights and mouse in place of the fairy/star.

A good well rounded setup with plenty of room to move to stretch out, but cable management has all but been forgotten. Loose the printer, or hide it away under the desk, move the monitors into the corner of the desk and have your tower on the desk. And as much as it pains me, move the tree of the desk or at least to the edge. Grab some Velcro ties and tidy that mess of wires underneath. Come to think of it. I should do that. Damn... just hide em behind the tree.. haha.

I have been following this guys PC build and although I want to strangle him over his cable management inside his PC, I cant argue with his choice of components and how minimal and clean his overall setup is.
His PC is a Ryzen 5 1400 system with a stock Wraith cooler, 16Gb of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 memory which is at 3000Mhz and a GTX 1070 GPU all on an MSI B350 Tomohawk Arctic Motherboard.
For storage he has a 500Gb 850 Evo SSD from Samsung which houses the OS and everything else.
There is also an RGB keyboard and mouse combo but no mouse pad. And I also spy a PS3?

Overall as minimalist as it gets and well organized, The green from the PC and the chair earn this some bonus points, put not enough to take the top spot. I think a wise upgrade would be a Hard disk as a storage drive in your PC, free up some room on the SSD, if space allows it, a bigger desk I think Is needed, that way you can get your PC of the floor, It will heat up and gather more dust on the floor there. And please, I'm begging you, please sort out your cables? If not, I will come and do it.

And the winner of the first Setup Wars by @TechMojo is...........

1 - @vitalbullet

This is a very clean looking setup, although the cable management behind the desk is a little messy, everything else is well presented.
The main PC here is an i7 3770K which I believe has been overclocked from 3.9Ghz stock to 4.2Ghz. (Some bonus points there) it has 16Gb of Hyper fury X DDR3 and a GTX 970, all sitting on an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 Motherboard. For storage we have a 120Gb SSD for the OS, another SSD but 500Gb for all his games and 1Tb for storage but also has a 6Tb NAS on his network.
For cooling he has a Corsair H100i AiO with Noctua NF-f12 Fans and all this is encased in a very minimalist Fractal Designs Define r5 case.
On the desk we have a Master Keys Pro L, RGB Keyboard and mouse with a very cool looking XL Razer Mouse pad.
Audio consists of a set of Beyer Dynamics DT 990 Pro headphones, a Mykey digital stereo 192 DAC, Marantz AV 8003 pre-amp, an SVS PC12” sub and a pair of Floating Synthese Speakers.
It also looks like 2 24” monitors with one vertical, which I suspect he uses for coding. I also spy a Play Station pad so there could be one around, unless its a generic PC one.

Overall, there is not a whole lot of room available, but the real estate that is there has been used well. A very clean set up with only cable management being a serious issue. Perhaps get a larger desk in the new year to give you some more breathing room, I would suggest upgrading to a more modern CPU but the LGA 1155 socket only lets you go as far as a Xeon 1270 sandy bridge, but there are plenty of LGA 1151 boards about that still take DDR3 so you could go up to a 6th gen CPU. That way you can get the most out of the hardware.

Congratulations @vitalbullet, once all the posts from the week have been added up and collected, your well earned Steem Dollars will be transferred over.

I would like to say again a big thank you to all those who submitted their setups and hope to see more of the same in the coming weeks.

Have a very Good Christmas from all the team here at TechMojo

Wow, some awesome set up's and I am very pleased to get second place against some stiff competition. The cable management is a definite I need to do some internal adjustments and I will add a secondary HDD for storage - my NAS idea is fine for under 10gb of data moving - but ball achingly slow on 70gb odd folders lol. It's a PS4 on it's side - we have that connected to the Asus monitor to switch between the two depending on what we want to game on. I do have a ps 3 as well - that's hooked up to the TV I wall mounted on the left of the set up - mostly use it to watch the Grand Tour on Amazon Prime!

Congratulations @vitalbullet, super set up and I will be following all the contestants as well.

HOWLY DAMN! I know about the cable management but audio cables don't like to be tied together :S Just to correct the DAC is Mytek Digital Stereo192 DSD-DAC and if people are wondering what is actually driving those speakers it's a Parasound HCA-3500 (Dual mono stereo amp 500W in 4ohm per channel).
Congratulations to the other competitors and a BIG thank you too @techmojo

I'll be upgrading my system completely once Nvidia launches their new Volta consumer cards.
