It's Sepia Saturday in Santa Barbara
For #SepiaSaturday, a nostalgic photography tag created by @old-guy-photos, I'm posting a couple of images I captured at Mission Santa Barbara, in Santa Barbara, California, last weekend. The editing settings that I used here actually correspond to "gelatina de plata" or silver gelatin. My "sepia" settings are a bit too orange for my taste, so I may need to tweak them a little.
Camera | Canon EOS 80D |
Lens | Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 STM lens |
Editing Software | GIMP |
Location | Santa Barbara, California |
I'm adding the color images here, for comparison...and 'cause I kinda like them in color too ;-)

Gracias. Me alegro que te hayan gustado las fotos.
Great shots they both work so well in Sepia,
Thank you kindly. It's kind of a "sepia wannabe" but the gelatina de plata does have the same old-timey look.
I am never that fussed on precise rules for photography I think anything with an old time feel to it and a little bit of brownish or yellow is close enough for me ;)
Wow, absolutely amazing photograph.I really like this picture.
Thanks friend. I appreciate your kind comment.
