There are many examples of crops in places that do not seem suitable, but what about the inhabitants of buildings? Many of us managed to have small crops.

I live in a small apartment that has a balcony, there I have my small garden and in it I include some plants that I must shelter inside the house during the winter.

Pienso que en primer lugar debo asumir activamente que quiero conservar la Tierra como un hermoso lugar para vivir, por eso debo debo evitar acciones que la deterioren y poner en práctica actividades que la favorezcan:

Hay muchos ejemplos de cultivos en lugares que no parecen aptos, ¿pero qué sucede con los habitantes de edificios? Muchos nos las arreglamos para tener pequeños cultivos. Vivo en un pequeñito apartamento que tiene balcón, ahí tengo mi pequeño jardín y en él incluyo algunas plantas que debo refugiar dentro de la casa durante el invierno. /

In addition, as you can see in the photographs, the plants are planted in plastic containers, which we recycle in this way. I believe that recycling is essential to lighten the weight of pollution a little, for our Mother Earth. In other words, paint with green everything we can and avoid contaminating it as much as possible.

/Además como pueden observar en las fotografías, las plantas están sembradas en envases plásticos, que reciclamos en esta forma.  Creo que el reciclaje es fundamental para aligerar un poco el grave peso de la contaminación, para nuestra Madre Tierra. En otras palabras, pintar con verdes todo lo que podamos y evitar contaminarla todo lo que nos sea posible./

 In Europe (Spain, specifically) recycling is institutionalized and it is easy for neighbors to place trash in separate containers: paper and cardboard, glass, plastic, organic and more; but in my beloved Caracas (it can be generalized to Venezuela), recycling is not yet born. I wonder, what can ordinary and conscious people do in this regard? Maybe ask the authorities for its implementation, and reuse everything that is reusable.

 For my part, I consider that the small time and effort devoted to classifying, sorting and dumping garbage is well worth it to achieve a healthier world. In addition, there are facilities to do so: in the library there are containers for lids and for desk waste; in the supermarket, a battery container. It is easy to store them and take them to their respective containers once or twice a week. The secret: be aware of the importance of these actions.

/En Europa (España, específicamente) el reciclaje está institucionalizado y es fácil para los vecinos colocar la basura en recipientes separados: papel y cartón,vidrio, plástico, orgánicos y más; pero en mi amada Caracas (puede generalizarse a Venezuela), el reciclaje aún no ha nacido. Me pregunto, ¿qué puede hacer la gente común y consciente en este aspecto? Tal vez pedir a las autoridades su implementación, y re-utilizar todo lo re-utilizable.

Por mi parte, considero que el pequeño tiempo y esfuerzo dedicado a clasificar, ordenar y botar la basura, bien vale la pena para lograr un mundo más saludable. Además, hay facilidades para hacerlo: en la biblioteca hay recipientes para tapas y para desechos de escritorio; en el automercador, un contenedor para pilas. Es fácil guardarlas y llevarlas a sus respectivos contenedores una o dos veces por semana. El secreto: estar consciente de la importancia de estas acciones./

Simple strategies, such as having a shopping bag, which you can easily carry in your wallet, avoid producing garbage.

Treating your belongings with love will have two effective results: you will produce less garbage and give your income a better return. Taking care of your things is taking care of your money and will allow you to save to enjoy with your family in pleasant activities such as a beautiful vacation.

/Una estrategia simple, como tener una bolsa para comprar, que fácilmente puedes llevar en la cartera, evitan producir basura.

Tratar con amor tus pertenencias, tendrá dos efectivos resultados: producirás menos basura y dará mayor rendimiento a tus ingresos. Cuidar tus cosas es cuidar tu dinero y te permitirá ahorrar para disfrutar con tu familia en actividades placenteras como unas lindas vacaciones./

As talking about this is also talking about money and holidays, I think I don't need to write much. Just remember that every drop of water is a treasure and that every electrical or gas equipment that is unnecessarily connected is a waste of money, for those who have to pay for the services and for the country in which one is located. But it is also becoming an accomplice of the deterioration of the Earth.

/Como hablar de esto es también hablar de dinero y de vacaciones, creo que no se necesita escribir mucho. Basta recordar que cada gota de agua es un tesoro y  que cada equipo eléctrico o de gas que se una innecesariamente es una pérdida de dinero, para quien tenga que pagar los servicios y para el país en el cual uno se encuentre. Pero además es convertirse en cómplice del deterioro de la Tierra./

These two aspects are fundamental in the struggle that must be undertaken daily for the conservation of the Earth. And it must be a systematic work. I collaborate in positive, showing natural beauty and talking about the importance of the rational consumption of resources. Creating awareness in others is everyone's job.
