How to find a needle in a haystack?
If the idea of finding a needle in a haystack appears like a very daunting and impossible task to you, it's actually quite simple:
Step 1: Find matches
Step 2: Burn the Haystack
Step 3: Sift through the ashes
I was taught this today during a course on time managment I was taking. Often we spend a lot of time looking for somethingg or trying to get something done. Too often a lot of the time we spend is spent because we are trying to save the hay.
If getting something important done can be quickly done in a way which appears damaging in total. it's still usefull to consider whether the quick way, including the damage, isn't better than the slow and clean way.
(Example: Trying to pass an exam by studying only the questions from a previous exams, thereby liberating time to study for another course which you would otherwise surely fail.
You harm your chances for the first exam (you burn the hay) but you in doing so, you find the needle.
If the needle is so precious just get a electromagnet lol!
That would only work on iron steel or nickle :)
AND, it would kinda sorta ruin the metaphhore
