The "Memorization Trap"

There is one big mistake machines can make, and it's called Overfitting.

Imagine a student who prepares for a math test by simply memorizing every single answer in the textbook instead of actually learning how to do the math. When they get to the real exam and the numbers are slightly different, they fail miserably.

That is overfitting! The machine becomes too obsessed with the specific details of the training data and fails to understand the bigger picture. It’s great at repeating what it saw, but terrible at handling anything new.

So, next time someone starts talking about AI or Machine Learning, don't panic. Just remember: it's just patterns, labels, and a whole lot of practice! 🚀
