[Steem talk] Park and run

So I was wondering, my recent post payout has been extremely low, and I can almost remember where my SBD standing over night, the next day I can still see it there unchanged. No way my SBD will grow over night other than post payout. Even that, I did not allow steemauto to collect my payout so I can enjoy the harvest manually.

Yesterday I woke up with some 4SBD extra, for a brief moment I thought someone dropped their money and accidentally it fall into my wallet. How convenient 🤣 Apparently, it did not. That was a trade earlier I parked 10 steems for 4 SBD. Matter of fact, I usually park on all intervals. 10 steems for 5 SBD. I have it all the way up to 10 steem for 10 SBD.

Wait, aren't we supposed to hodl on to Steem? We can get SBD anytime post payout, why still bother to change our previous steems back to SBD? Well, during these "round up" area, pricing can be very competitive. There are people willing to do anything to poke the price beyond or bounce it back to affordable place. Depending on which side is winning. All I can say is, if market price continue to go above 0.4, then we're good because we're hodling more valuable SBD already. But, like many other people, even price already hit 0.40, still someone willing to let go at a lower price. Simply for one reason, volume. It could be the guy ran out of luck, he need to use that crypto a d couldn't hold it and sell at 0.39000

Checkout the last price, which means the final transaction deal at that price. Isn't it funny despite the exchange rate already go beyond, but still someone willing to sell at lower price. Since we have 4SBD in hand, we can sell them back to the market. But at the given last price of 0.39000. Which means, this deal will only take me 3.9SBD to exchange with 10 steem. So I have 0.1SBD balance.

Overall, what does this transaction cost me? Absolutely nothing. All I care to do is, whatever given by the market, I put it back and make it bigger.
