Building With Steem-Engine and SCOT Token
For the first time in while, I am bullish on STEEM again because of what is going on with @steem-eng! Don't get me wrong, I've stayed bullish on the Steem community and been building @freedomtribe in anticipation of SMTs, but I was a little bit tired of waiting, lol.

My Test Post
This post is to test the SCOT Token. I feel as excited as the first time I posted on Steemit! The idea that we can just use tags and distribute our own coins to our own communities and have a built in market for it all just blows me away.

What's even crazier, is it's way beyond an idea, It's here. I am a SCOTT Tester on the Steem-Engine Discord If I understand correctly, because I've used the #scottest tag and will get upvotes from other SCOTT holders with SCOTT staked, I should earn some SCOTT tokens with this post!
What I am really excited about is doing the exact same thing with the @freedomtribe community and possibly on http://freefolk.io/ in the future.

I need the dummies version of this explanation. :) But yes, the SMTs will revive and rejuvenate steem.... I think all of us are feeling like 4pm on a sticky hot 105F Thai day while we await the blessed evening rains. But the rains ARE coming!
Basically, we will soon all be able to make our own coins, that have a built in reward pool like Steem, with a few clicks. We will be able to use these coins on our own Steemit like websites, if we decide to make our own, that only have our users content. Basically, it's pretty much everything we've been waiting for with SMTs and communities. What's also really cool, is that we can take our time to build our fancy website out, but in the mean time be able to distribute our tokens with steemit/tags.
So, in a couple months we will make our @freedomtribe version of the SCOT token and maybe call it FOLK. When you use the freedomtribe tag you will earn FOLK when you get upvote from tribe members who hold FOLK and have it staked. Eventually, if we want to, we will be able to do it all on FreeFolk.io without having to go to Steemit or worry about the tag.

I had to use the tag and get upvotes from other SCOT holders. After my upvotes from SCOT holders, I had to claim my new SCOT after 24 hours. Very easy and intuitive. It seems to me that @steem-eng is just about ready to take this live!
