I know that the moment you've read this first sentence, you have easily detected the errors in that greetings, right? Everyone loves to talk and speak out their opinions, sentiments and ideas but what if someone corrected your grammar? What will be your initial reaction? Will you be offended by it?

How Important is Grammar For Us

Grammar is considered the foundation of communication emphasizes by linguistics. While grammar is essential in setting of constructive and structural rules which will be a big factor in in the composition of clauses, phrases and sentences given in any language. Your speaking skill as well as the Grammar skills are useful in every aspect of life from education to leadership, to business and social life as well. To the greater extent, when the speaker relayed with precise grammar, including proper punctuation, it will be lot easier to understand and comprehend the purpose and real meaning of the message. grammar set the systematic component and parts in combining our thoughts and messages in a form of sentences and ideas.

Speaking Wrong Grammar, A Big Deal ?

Linguists, Kauffman, revealed the importance of grammar and thus shows the higher rate of people that are concerned about correct grammar and usage of appropriate words nowadays. It can be argue that our love of our native dialects and language also symbolizes the love, value that exerts to our identity. in some institutions and school grammar really has a big impact and played a vital role most especially on essay question on the exam and paper works. Some Porfessor would returned your paper wit a noticed of your mistakes and of course mark them as "failed or do it again" to the point that even spelling and punctuation and grammar have became a big deal that people from any generation get confused and don what is right or wrong. This also paves way for the so -called Grammar Nazis

Who are the so-called "Grammar- Nazis?"
According to Urban Dictionary One who uses refined vocabulary, correct grammar, constantly finds themselves correcting grammar and spelling (in forums, chatrooms, tumblr, YouTube, etc.) is a Grammar Nazi.

I truly believe there are a lot of Grammar Nazis now. So Upon understanding this, I made research and investigate through my Facebook and Instagram Account if i can find one and i start searching for straight 3 days. These are the things that i saw. Some of the things I found out are from International or foreigners and others are from the Philippines where i am living.

Throughout my 3 days of searching online , I was completely stunned by how many things i found out. But there is more about this.

Science Proved that if You're Grammar Nazi, Probably You're A Judgmental Jerk

There has been many shocking results and study made recently and this might just be one of them. A recent research and study made by University of Michigan in the US has found out that people who point out typos and grammatical errors are more likely to be judgmental jerks in GENERAL as result in their intensive experiment and research. In addition according to Boland, “This is the first study to show that the personality traits of readers or listeners have an effect on the interpretation of language. In this experiment, we examined the social judgments that readers made about the writers." This result was supported also by other research institutions. In addition, the researcher also found that Grammar Nazi also tends to be more introvert and with extrovert people are less to be annoyed by simple grammar mistakes. The bottom-line in there is that correcting grammar doesn't make you jerk but if the writer who commits error "irritates" you then you're considered. However there can be another arguments on this, What if you're just doing or job? or this your job. You are an English teacher or Professor or Linguists who taught Grammar and literature and the form of Language were their tasked teaches everyone the proper usage and form of Grammar.

This has been one of the interesting study that Science has found recently and that all of us can relate to.
