What is the future of the Internet?

The law that the former US President Barack Obama passed in 2015 to ensure internet neutrality could change. For this, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) organized a vote on Thursday. But Ajit Pai, the current president of the FCC appointed by the trumpha, hopes the result of the election will be on their side. Basically the FCC wants to pass a new law.

Under the law passed by Barack Obama, Internet service providers could not reduce or decrease the internet speed of any particular website or app. This law was originally intended to keep the Internet open and fair. And the FCC has been uprooted to cancel the law. Under their proposed new law, the ban on internet service providers will be lifted.

Regarding the previous law, Ajit Pai said that the existing law has imposed a lot of unfair law on internet service providers. As institutions, they have the right to conduct the activities in their own system. He further said that through the new law the government control will be lifted from the internet institutions.

Meanwhile, Twitter, Reddit, Kickstarter, along with many other website authorities, have applauded the proposed legislation. But most people in the United States are opposing this law. Many protest demonstrations and movements in front of various Internet service providers. Internet experts say that if the new law is passed, the internet world will be quite desperate. As well as what kind of information will be provided on the Internet, there are risks of being uncontrolled.
