Great article. Here in the U.S., large areas (including Bear's Ears National Monument) were recently opened for uranium mining.
Anyone can "stake a claim" by hammering 4 stakes into the ground, thus establishing a plot of land.
Additional mining is not feasible however. Current uranium prices do not support further production.

I really was able to gather some info quickly today but some of what I found kinda shocked me a bit for sure.
And that is with everything I already know about every sector of gov't / corruption and related.
