A college provides an academic degree, which means that the college provides recognition that people who hold academic degrees in a field have received the adequate education in this field, and may even have contributed to the field of science.
A Bachelor's degree is given to people who are studying at a university (students) and has been considered as a field of science. A Master's and Doctoral degree is given to students who have provided lessons in a particular field of science.
A person with a Master's degree has conducted research and trial of the application of the old theory to a new environment, while a Doctor usually has developed a new theory for the field of science.
The Thesis is an official document that is collected to the college to get a Master's degree. A thesis contains the results of research and findings from the author.
From the above description can be concluded about the development of philosophy and technological knowledge in the present era, Philosophy is the fruit of human thought, which is based on contemplation of phenomena that occur so that it can be concluded that in early development, a philosopher often also became a scientist because of the closeness between philosophy and science and technology.
But in modern times, where science has been far more developed than philosophy in practical use, it is rarely seen by a philosopher who is also a scientist.
How to study also changes from self-taught learning and discussion to learning models in institutions. The progress of science and technology in the modern world is driven by the publication of the results of research and the findings of academics, which are made in the form of a Thesis or dissertation.
