Controlling Nano Technology | Some of which have been applied in several fields

in #science6 years ago

HI EVERYONE!

Are you one of those who love science?

Lovers of science and technology will certainly not be unfamiliar when they hear the word "nano" or "nano technology".

The concept of the term given by Richard Feynman was the first time on 29 December 1959 in a scientific speech at the Caltech (California Institute of Technology).

The event was organized by the American Physical Society. "There's a Plenty of Room at the Bottom."

Richard Feynman is a physicist. He had won the Nobel Prize in 1965. Prof. Norio Taniguchi has inaugurated the term Nanotechnology at the Tokyo Science University 1974.

Speaking in this millennial era, of course we enjoy some important nanotechnology breakthroughs. We may not understand and see it, because this is not a form that can be held, but a substance that we can find in various products used throughout the world.

You may feel familiar with some of these things:

  • Cosmetics that can transparently block harmful radiation from the sun.
  • Modifying catalysts on vehicles that reduce air pollutants
  • Devices on computers that read-from and write to the hard disk
  • As well as special coatings for clothing and sports equipment that can improve athletic performance.

We know the things above, we buy it with a slightly more expensive price, because there has been help from nano elements.

Scientists still believe that they have just revealed a little of the potential of nanotechnology. Of course, along with the times and other supporting technologies, nano technology will have many benefits.

Nano Technology for Food is Better and Healthier?

The latest news released by metrotvnews.com recently, presents a title that makes me curious about the nano work system in food. This is beyond something I have described above.

In accordance with its capabilities, nano technology can change the characteristics of a material, so it will be possible to make a variety of innovative food products, it changes the way when we process, wrap and store the foods.

Another example we can see from the application of nanotechnology in the food industry is nano-encapsulation which is used to enrich bread with Omega-3. It is useful to hide the taste and smell of tuna fish oil.

CONCLUSION

In terms of the use of nano for food, concerns arise, this is related to the nano material that is eaten, about the danger or not. And most nanotechnology is still used in research and development stages.

I always hope for the best of all technologies, even though it's not perfect for food, at least nano technology has had a tremendous impact on other related things. Steemians, What is your opinion? Please comment.

Uses of nanotechnology seem to be near limitless in so many fields. Energy storage, health, computing etc... one of my fav topics. Great to see someone else think so.
