Sitting On The Edge Of The Future #1 [Achieving Telekinesis: Possibility or Futility]

Most of us have seen the movie X-men. There's a particular genetic transmutation that caught my interest; that is Telekinesis (moving things with the mind), this can also be called psychokinesis. This ability was possessed by Jean Grey in the movie. But some may ask; is this not just sci-fi? Sure it is, but can the same effect be replicated scientifically?

Permit me to remind us this: In the world of Science and Emerging Tech, impossibilities do not exist.

A perfectly advanced technology is almost indistinguishable from magic

But I won't also have you ignorant of this fact; Science of telekinesis is relatively inexplicable till now.

There was a recent survey that was carried out regarding this context. It was discovered that there are actually people living with a measure of this psychic ability in this our modern world. there were also cases in history.

Among them include the likes of: 

Nina Kulagina. This was an impressive case of telekinesis. She lived in the 1920s. Though she wasn't born that way, she picked up the ability after she was involved in an explosion which traumatized her head.

Another impressive case I want to talk about is Dr. Polgar. This man wasn't also born psychic, but he picked up the abilities after he survived a grenade explosion. When he recovered, he found out he could do amazing psychic stuffs.

Are you deducing any similarities in these cases? Each of them picked up the ability after surviving a trauma to the head.

Now, is there an area in the brain which can be altered for humans to develop psychic abilities, or is this purely a sheer coincidence? Does coincidence really exist in science? Your answer is as good as mine.

Well, I think Science and Tech has finally figured out the answer to the possibilities of having telekinetic ability.

Science of Telekinesis

It is no doubt that the world of Virtual Reality is evolving unimaginably. A company; Neurable, has blazed the trail in this field with their plans to develop psychokinesis technology.

The prototype of this tech will be a VR game (awakening x), which will be purely based on mind control. This is really getting fascinating.

A couple of other techs will be incorporated into this. These include: Tracking eye movement technology, EEG (electroencephalogram) technology. This EEG could be worn like headsets, but future tech could have it surgically implanted into the brain. All these are pointers to the fact that we're sitting on the brink of the evolution of advanced telekinesis.

If I have this kind of ability, what will I do with it?

I'll definitely invest it in gardening and farming. Imagine cultivating a large piece of land without even moving an inch. Forming ridges with the mind, planting seeds with your thoughts, and doing other stuffs too. That will be so cool. That will be the future of gardening and homesteading (humorous though).

BTW: There's a land piece of land just behind my house. It could suffice for testing. 

In conclusion,

In my own opinion; in the nearest future, humans will be able to achieve these feats technologically.
