Incredible Image of the Big Bang’s afterglow wins Breakthrough Prize
This photo of our young universe further illustrates the theory that our cosmos is predominantly comprised of dark matter and dark energy.
The award-winning photo created by NASA’s Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe team shows slight variations in temperature after the Big Bang.

Now if only we could learn to properly harness that dark matter, create alternate power, and make getting into space cheaper.
