Of course I haven't. We've known the earth is a sphere for 2000 years. Why would my not bringing anything new to the table change that fact?

While the sphere idea may be 2000 years old, it was by no means the popularly accepted idea. A few hundred years is about all the globe can claim, and that has never been unanimous.

That is incredibly untrue. It's what flat earth YouTube videos tell you, and you are not bothering to fact check it.

It's what the school system taught me about 1492.

Great. So, you've made it clear that you are unable to fact check.

Shine that light on yourself. I'm repeating myself when I state beliefs are not facts. You want to tell me what everybody knew about 2000 years ago? Should we talk about Jesus?

Yet you do not show that anything I've said is not a fact. And it's a strawman to say that I'm making a case that BECAUSE people knew something 2000 years ago, that makes it a fact. Stop making strawmen. Your verbal gymnastics have not proven or disproven anything, and you seem to refuse to make any definitive statements, and you prefer philosophizing and casting aspersions over facts and taking any sort of stance on anything.

I am capable of a variety of stances and many shades of ridiculousness! It is your own stance you should be concerned about - careful what you claim to know, and be prepared to examine and reexamine it. Science is fun. There is a method to it.
