Update based on 5th Technical discussion
- One of the thoriated tungsten electrodes penetrates the Nickel foil about 1.5mm as a discharge initiator.
- The thoriated tungsten electrodes are cemented in place and the reactor partially sealed with 2 or 3 layers of alumina cement a few millimetres thick each
- Alumina cement is used to create a heat resistant couple between the ultrasonic horn and the reactor. Aluminium was used initially but this melted and was lost.
Wondering about the ECCO reactor, a single core input power is 130 w? 8 core total input power is 1 kw ? (100 w 1 MHZ pulse discharge of 1000-2400v + 30 w 1 MHZ ultrasonic), Don't need the resistance wire heating reactor?
