Created a two-dimensional material
A team of researchers in Melbourne, Australia, made a unique discovery which will likely change the way you make chemistry. They created two-dimensional material, with a thickness of just a few atoms. Such an artifact was never discovered nor in the world of artificial materials or in nature.
To create a material team has dissolved metals in the liquid metal to create a thin oxide layer that naturally exist as a super thin structure. The new material is expected to look at chemistry but has promising potential in electronics . There is expected to improve critical technology for data storage, and to make the transfer and processing of electronic data much faster. Oxide layers can be used as a transistor components and depending on how thin they require proportionately less energy to function.
