It is getting really scary. I love going to beaches and seeing plastics floating, being thrown in our seas breaks my heart and angers me. I don't understand why people can sometimes be so irresponsible. I use eco-bags when I shop, I don't usually buy bottled drinks since they're usually sweetened beverages and thank God I don't really like sweets. But to be honest it is really hard when almost all things are made in plastic. I just hope we all cooperate before it's too late.. Thank you for sharing this, hope this message will reach to as many people as possible.. I will resteem this definitely..
I feel that part of this is caused by the competitive culture that is being cultivated all around. When we are disempowered and look at the 'royals' basically having everything that they could ever possibly want - it creates discomfort and we will unconsciously seek anything that gives us a sense of 'convenience' and that our lives are being made easy... As long as people get the conveniences they are content in many cases. Combine this with the fact that many people never go into nature or the oceans and we have a recipe for denial and disaster!
Totally agree with you on that.. If only we'll all be responsible individually with whatever we do, that will make a huge difference..
