However, in 2016, one of the closest SECOND earth was found! It's name is called "Proxima b." Why is this planet called SECOND earth? What makes this planet special? Let's go inside it!

If you look at this picture, you can know how proxima b looks like.

And this is the inside of proxima b. What makes proxima b special is, proxima b is the earth type planet, which is in the habitable zone. -Habitable zone is a zone where water can exist, which means creatures like bacteria could live-. There were lots of planet in habitable zone or presumed to have water, but why proxima b is important, it is in very close distance.

According to the Red-dot project, - where found proxima b- proxima b exists in 6 light years! -light year means, where light travels during 1 year- Maybe it could be super long but, comparing to other habitable zone planet, it's really short. Also, for me what I was impressed was that proxima b's size.

As you can see in this picture, proxima b is very huge. Maybe it's because, proxima b is near very huge star named Alpha centaury AB. Also, I was pretty impressed with it's imagination drawn sunset.

This shows how sunset occurs in each habitable planet, it's pretty same but each planet's sun's size is different.

Restating this, proxima b is the closest habitable planet near earth, and it was found in 2016 August 24th by (S. Pete Worden), (Guillem Anglada-Escude), (Pedro J. Amado), (Ansgar Reiners).
