RE: Procession Into Human De-Evolution [Are We Still Evolving, Or Have We Started De-Evolving?]

in #science6 years ago (edited)

Hello @samminator

I can imagine the amount of efforts that were directed at gathering information with which this piece was finally written. It must have caused many days of dedicated work. The richness of this post, the style of writing and information passed are pointers.

In this era, there has been heavy reliance on computational devices and even memory devices, and the need to stock in much info in our brain has almost been overridden, thus giving rise to some forms of dormancy (or I should say; inactivity), and of course, the theory of "use and disuse" would come into play. By inference, this can be a pointer to a reverse evolution (de-evolution).

Quite very logical. And I really wonder where we are headed bro. In this regard, and with the compelling evidences, I am tempted to believe technology will surely cause the extinction of modern man as we see today.

Now I'm thinking about the 6th mass extinction. Do you think technology would be a major player in it? Also, do you think humans would be extinct or evolved into something beyond human? All these questions would be answered one day, hopefully.

I can imagine the amount of efforts that were directed at gathering information.

That's the joy of it bro.

Thanks a lot for the nice comment bro

Both phenomena will be happening simultaneously. That's what I think. We will extinct and also evolve. That's how it has been and always will be . Regards

@eurogee both humans and technologies have distinct roles to play, and are unique in their different ways. For instance, computers have no emotions whatsoever, which can lead to flawed conclusions in judgement. on the other hands technologies can store huge amounts of information which would be difficult if man tried storing even 1% of it.

Quite logical but cannot constitute a clog in the wheels of extinction and evolution.
