What a lovely, gentle report. One of the gentlest people I ever knew, Maxwell Corydon Wheat Jr., was a 'birdwatcher'. He used to lead nature/poetry excursions on the Hempstead plains of Long Island. He was the first Poet Laureate of Nassau County and some of his poetry featured his love of birds.
I get the same feeling of peace in your post that I got from Max's writing--and also from being around him. It's a nice experience. Thanks :)
Hola @etcmike, excelentes fotos, Haces un trabajo bastante interesante ya que muchas personas que le gustan los pájaros los tienen en jaulas. Gracias por compartir tan notable trabajo.

Thank you! Some birds are hard to photograph because they do not sit still. I took a lot of pictures of birds over the weekend, but only included the best in the post.
Have a great week!
Steem on,
Mike
