Pioneering Plants: Primitive Moss Organism Rooting In Unexpected Fashion

Single-celled primitive Moss species were among the first plant organisms to pop up on planet earth. Along with an abundance of Stromatolites (rock formations grown by bacteria) these primitive, ancient organisms produce oxygen as a result of photosynthesis. And uptake carbon dioxide in doing so.

Oxygen is what allows us to live in this atmosphere. So in an indirect way, these rugged Moss roots are responsible for jump starting the atmospheric conditions we see today... or at least that’s what the science establishment wants us to believe is our planets historic past.

That about 3.4 billion years ago, Planet Earth was a very inhabitable place to live, until the sudden appearance of stromatolites, followed by single-celled plant organisms like Moss and Lichen. Which began adding oxygen to the environment, which in turn allowed for more complex life to evolve.

With my education, I am the guy who now finds the details in the small things to be the biggest find of all. Most people would overlook this patch of frontier Moss, but I see it for what it is! It’s natural ruggedness and hardiness to survive is a contributing factor to our literal existence on this planet. Fathom that. The small things.
