SteemItGoldMiner

Yesterday, I accidentally stumbled up a brand new site, built on the Steem blockchain, where you can play games.

SteemItGoldMiner is a website where you can play minigames, share your score on SteemIt, and earn upvotes by doing this.

There is a catch, though. Everyone can play and publish their score on SteemIt, but to be eligible to get an upvote, you need to delegate SteemPower.

This delegation can be as low as 10SP, but if you haven't got anything to spare, you can still play for free .

And that's where this @newbiegames contest comes in. We're hosting our own tournament, for which NO DELEGATION is needed.

Everyone can share their score by clicking a button when the game ends but
only people who delegated SteemPower to @steemitgoldminer will be eligible to receive upvotes.

The more you delegate the higher your upvote will be each time you post a game' score and the more posts will actually get upvotes.

(For example 50 SP will get a 5% upvote and max 3 upvotes/week while 250 SP would get 25% upvote and max 15 upvotes/week

The amount of $ of the upvote also depends on the price of Steem and how many people delegate.

No Delegation Needed To Win

@newbiegames wouldn't be @newbiegames if we didn't understand that most of our members don't have extra SP up for grabs.

So I decided to set up a tournament like the one we had for the SteemSnake game. This way, you might earn something without having to delegate to the @steemitgoldminer account.

Of course, if you like playing games, and you have a bit of Steem Power to spare, you can always decide to delegate anyway - that won't rule you out from our little competition.

Depending on the popularity of this contest, we'll host more of these game competitions in the future.

This Week's Game: Balloon Pop

So, this week we want to find out who the most skilled Balloon Popper is.

Balloon Pop is one of the minigames you can find on the site. You may think it's a bit of a child's game, but I've tried, and it is not as easy as you'd think.

In the game, balloons fly through the sky, all at a different pace. Some are moving only upwards, others move from left to right. The further you get in the game, the faster the balloons cross your screen.

You have only limited time to click (or tap, on mobile) as many balloons as you can.

But beware, some balloons don't have a face, but a cross on it.

You are not supposed to click those.

How To Join?

• First, you need to go to the SteemItGoldMiner website and click the red button that says 'Play MiniGames Here'.

Then, you need to log in by clicking the 'Login' button in the top right corner.

• Log in through SteemConnect, and you're all set to go.

• The Balloon Pop game we are playing this week can be found in the top left corner. Click 'Play Game' and the game will start.

The Contest

We're looking for the most skilled player. This means that the person with the highest score wins the game.

So play the game, as often as you'd like.

Once a game is over, a popup with your score appears.
