Encouragement to Parents

Hello, a lovely morning to you all, i know it has been a while since i posted nonetheless am back for good now and today i'd like to share a word.

Genesis 21:18 Lift the boy up and take him by the hand for i will make him a great nation.

Now if you should go through the story of Hagar and her son Ishmael, you learn a lot about how much God cares about parenting and single parents even more. Despite the fact that he was the son of Abraham he was sent away with the mother without full support that a child would have needed to growing up with both parents or a father, he only gave them some food and skin of water. So Hagar leaves with the son and goes wandering the desert and symbol to many Christians who are walking through deserts of the past shames and mistakes with the fear of starting anew. Now at the point where all was lost and she was afraid to see the child die she left him under some bush and went away to cry, the child started to cry and God heard the cries of the innocent child and because of that they both saved as God opened her eyes to see a well of water.

What this tell us is that God loves our children even more than the parents or guardians, he has great plans for them that you may not have even thought about, being a parent and a single one for that matter can be very tiring and lonely at times, you may even do your very humanly possible best but it may not be enough. What i want you to understand today is that God's got your back and his resources are inexhaustible, he will empower you when you are weary and will see you through the seemly insurmountable mount Everest like hurdles and eventually all shall be well, just keep holding up.
