A Vent Out Post for Tonight

Hi Steemians I hope that you are all doing well. Because today I am not.

Actually I was an hour and a half ago. So here's what happened.

As I have shared in the past post that I had, I am still looking for an online job in that way it can help out on my daily necessities plus the tuition fee that I will be paying at school.

I still have like 7 thousand pesos payables to my school and because of that I cannot enroll yet this semester. I am expecting a money this coming 15th from an online sideline which is a good thing . So that amount will be paid to my school and then afterwards I will be enrolling on the same date.

In my search for a full time job online. I stumbled to a sales account / Telemarketer job and I got excited because I got hired the same day that I sent out my resume together with the interview. We are 20 that got hired on that time and we had a mini huddle with the supposed to be Team Leader.

We were informed that we will start the training by Wednesday last week, however due to extreme weather condition that time plus the internet is not cooperating really well on the trainer's end it got postponed and it was moved on the latter part of the week.

By that time I still have hopes on the company because we are able to get in touch with the recruiter/ our team leader and she was able to somehow pacify my doubts.

The next day Thursday, we already have our website but we are informed that we will have the training rescheduled again by Monday 11-06-2017 due to the reason that the trainer is not available that time. She also mentioned that the campaign is quite easy and the contract plus the scripts will be submitted the next day or the day before the training.

Come Sunday, we already received the scripting a well written script for sales account. So confidence level went up again but the job contract no. We still haven't received anything yet.

We are advised that our training will be this Monday at 11 PM Manila time. Since it is our first day at work, and I got super excited on the job because I was assured that it is the real deal already. I prepared, I slept early and woke up at around 6PM ( I have an extra job and my schedule was 7pm on that part time ).

After finishing my job on the part time. I prepared myself to the telemarketing job. Read the script all over and tried to memorize it in that way I will be able to perform on the said job really well. But to my surprise around 10:50 PM the recruiter/Team Leader told us that it will be again postponed and the resume date is currently unknown.

I did visit the website again, and to my surprise I got an error message

Tried searching google for the name of the company, but no good results found and I even checked facebook if there is a facebook page of the company but there's no facebook page and it seems like it was deactivated.

It was a horrible experience for me today knowing that I just wasted my time and effort waiting for the job that will not be pushing through.

But looking on the brighter side, I am still thinking to be positive in a way.

I learned today that I should be vigilant and should always do my searches real good. Check and verify the information given. Which I am doing before, I was so trusting on the recruiter that I did not even care to do a research anymore.

I haven't told this matter to my team mates because I do not want to sound so negative and I do not want to be the one who will start the fire and that is why I am just posting it on here without the name of the company nor the recruiter. But for now it is already marked as SCAM on my end due to false promises and things that I experienced to them.
