Saint James of the Marche was born in Ancona in Italy.He is well educated and holds a doctorate degree in canon and civil law in Perugia university in Italy.
Saint James of the Marche studied theology and was ordained in 1420 and then he began a preaching career and traveled to many countries and almost the whole of Italy.

Saint James of the Marche fast for nine months of the year
He sleeps only three hours at night
He is one of the founding fathers of Franciscans community
He worked with many Saints like,saint John of Capistrano,Albert of sateano and many others.
He is known for preaching and made many Catholics to reform their lives.
Saint James of the Marche is known for his preaching and was recorded that he converted more than 250000 people
Saint James of the Marche fought against high interest rate,when people borrow money,that was what made him to open a credit organization that gives out loans or (powned object) with low interest or no interest,because of the organization that he opened,people who are into money lending became unhappy and send assassins to kill him,which when they come in contact with saint James of the Marche they will loss courage of what they came for.
He was around 85 years before he died .
Saint James of the Marche was the Patron saint of monteprandone ,co-patron of Naples in Italy.

His feast day is 28 of November

What have you done to upgrade and make people around you happy .is your Christian life touching people's life and make them to turn to God . Saint James of the Marche preached the word of God in many countries and also established an organization that gives free loan .that is what every Christian suppose to practice,living your live for others to be happy.
