Title of the art : Captain Squid

On this illustration you will see a sailor named Captain Squid. Yes he is a squid sailor. He wears his sailor uniform of blue and yellow. Like a typical nautical character he loves to smoke with his pipe. He also has a tattoo on his left leg, you guessed it right it is an anchor. Captain Squid is shown catching some fish in the ocean with his red boat on the shore. He will be sharing his catch to the rest of his group later tonight over a fire by the seashore.

I only found out about this contest today. I was searching about the cards that Agnes has been preparing and was surprised that there is this contest about sailors and I am glad I joined. It was not easy coming up with an idea but the tips helped me focus on what is needed. I immediately thought I would use a sea dwelling character instead of a human character because I think that will be more fun. So far, I love how Captain Squid had turned out to be. He looks cute and fancy with his little cap on and that sailor shirt and pipe.
