Palermo to Salina (N 38°32, E 14°52). 80 NM in less then 10 hours!
Hi world, friends and family,
After short detour to Palermo to pick up our brand new life raft and a last goodbye to our friends, we picked up the strong but favourable NW wind back to Salina in the Aeolian Islands. More flying then sailing in 25kn of wind, 5m high waves, broad reach and plus 8 knots of speed, Soon we were back on the islands. Panarea and Stromboli will be our next stops before we continue to the Almalfi coast and Napoli. Valentina sailed us safe all the way long while dolphins kept an eye on us.
And…
We’ll have to bring more offers to Neptunus, the god of the sea, to help us catch a fish…
