I feel like sometimes the technology takes away from the enjoyment of running but I guess that's because I don't compete. Since I started using the nike run app I find I'm a little on edge trying to keep up my time. Not a bad thing to push yourself I guess.
I tend to agree with you. I am interested in these technologies but have been using them less and less as it can definitely take away some of the enjoyment, as well it makes people over think.
