Spreading the running love #runforsteem
Every Tuesday night, save for illness, holiday or extreme weather, I lead a mixed ability running group. We've had record attendees during 2018 and had 33 people brave the cold drizzle tonight.
I always run at the back with whoever wants to go slowest. This week I covered a strangely satisfying 4.44km, with other group members covering over 8km.
It's a gentle run for me but I get a whole lot more from chatting to everyone about their running and helping them get as much enjoyment as I do from running.

I'm very fortunate to have such a friendly bunch. Despite their mixed abilities, they all support one another.
That's so cool. And that nice you ran with the "back of the pack" sometimes it can be nice to just do a "chill" run :)
That way I make sure no one gets left behind and the people new to running feel supported. And yes, I schedule it in to my own training as a relaxed run - it helps get my legs going after a strength and conditioning session on a Tuesday morning!

We just need to receive your ''enrollment'' fee and you will be in our curation list.
If you are still doubting about, at least have a look from time to time to the @runningproject posts...maybe you will find something interesting soon!
I do want to join - I'm so new I'm just waiting on some payouts so I can pass on the "enrollment" fee! Hopefully this week.
