#RunforSteem - Recovery Run 🏃🏻 🤕
I’m back out on the trails running for Steem after 3 weeks without running. Hamstring pull sidelined me for a while, but it felt fine on today’s trail run through Patapsco Valley State Park. One of my New Year’s resolutions was to run all year without injuries. At my age I have a better chance resolving that I will hit the lottery. But to be honest I feel blessed that I can still even run occasionally.
Winter has played havoc with the trails and I got the opportunity to do hurdles (not) over all the fallen trees brought down by high winds over the last couple of months.
Today’s route was a nice rolling hills route without too many steep sections that would strain my hamstring.
This is my entry for @jumowa’s #runforsteem challenge.

I'm sorry to read that. did you forget to warm up? btw, wanted to let you know that i delegated my SP for a week to test a service. Since you are on my auto vote list, Don't be surprised if my votes aren't as rewarding as usual. I'll let you know after a week what I decided to do
To be honest, I never warm up. I usually just run very slow until my legs loosen up. The day I strained my hamstring, I went out faster than normal and it was cold and uphill, so I got what I deserved. No worries about the voting change.
I removed the delegation. votes back to normal in a couple days
Sounds good. I tried one of the voting delegation bots, but it dropped my power so low, I was left with very little discretionary voting power.
Same here although it was intentional. I think Ill do it again in case I really dont have time.
Injuries and forced running breaks are always annoying.
Absolutely annoying.

I couldn’t keep up with a happy cat. How about a happy turtle?
