Week eleven Quest post: Undeads and bandits Part three

investigate the fallen stone tower

@blockurator is raining fire down at the undead by killing two more. @methus put two arrows and kill one more Tim Charge attacking whit shield. manage to knock back one of them. the undeads are lumbering forward. hitting Tim but do minimal damage. two undead is going fore methus.

@ecoinstant shooting arrows it sems to be missing its very windy up here.
one undead next to methus has and arrow in his chest. he has 2 hp left.

the undead has a max 2 squares movement on a action.

NEW Rule: hide. you can move to a location out of sight of the enemys (forest,darkness, behind house, mountains etc.) and roll a @ rollthedice if you get same value as and Sneak attack 1-3 (or special number depend it on the quest) Then you have a +5 on your next attack.

after and successful supris attack and killing one of the bandits @happyme
got hit two times and got suprise over the skill level on the remanding bandit.
he manage to slip out in the dark forest. the remanding bandit dont now where he is. he is ready scouting out in the dark forest.

Happyme knows that by hiding in the forest, the bandit cannot see as well as I can see him because he is still near the fire. Silly bandit. I'll use that advantage to renew my attack now that I have had time to recover a little bit from the 2 blows of the bandit's stone hammer. I jump out of the forest and resume my attack with renewed vigor (6+5+5 =16 to hit) @rolld20

OOC: I don't suppose we can add a charge modifier on top of that can we?

sadly no a was trying to find a place where you where 3 from him but all places where 4. but no worry on the hit. :)

WHAT??? I was under the impression we could move in any direction? If you count angled moves, we are just 3 spaces apart.

Seeing that @methus is too close for comfort and not wanting to miss my target and hit him instead, I put the bow away and pull out my sword. I sneak attack the nearest undead. @rolld20

Not that the sneak made any difference since you rolled a 6 anyway, but the sneak does require the role of a D6 to see if it is successful or not.

Oh, I forgot. That should have been a d6 roll. Oh well. que sera sera

Shooting again at the injured skeleton, we will try to wipe an enemy off the map!

This time, adjusting for the wind, I fire at what seems to be a target well wide of the injured skeleton, and - Sure enough! - the arrow twists around and comes crashing into the foe - taking it down.

OOC: If I've followed everything correctly, I think the two undead that are in my square are gone. So I'll shoot arrows at the ones by Tim.

Edit: Results - 2 hits with arrows for 4 damage total on the undead closest to the tower, killing him (again). Successful charge attack with spear on the northern most undead in the square with Tim, for 3 damage.
