Event (The trading outpost defense.)

The Darkland is a RPG here on steemit to jone comment below or go on. Discord this is a quest post.The colony part of the game is every Monday.

Three men is coming towards the outpost. in front its a big man he has a skull as and helmet he has and battelaxe. one of the soldier is carries a banner. the banner is green/black color in the middle its a snake..who are in charge here.? before anyone can answer him. We are looking for those who killed my son. we fund him and two of his men in the forest. you have 2 days to give him to me or we will burn this outpost to the ground. just after the men left. the outpost is sending out messengers to the colonist to help.

two days later @methus is arrives at the outpost. He is looking for information on the missing blacksmith he get its info and are on the way out when the "snake clan" are attacking. he manage to get inn before the gate is closed.

is arrives its a fog morning. you can smell smoke in the air.
They are met by a soldier from the outpost. he has manage to get out some armor the colonist can borrow. The odds are not in our favor, maybe your help can tip it over.
he has a some ale to help and fix your nerves, the soldier handing over and ale and a studded chest plate. and iron helmets. a have a few iron javelins to.
The soldier is giving big Jake a stone hammer matches your name. (creativetruth worker)

The soldier is showing you a "ruff" map over the area (almost like the one made is have not done something like this is long time)
the Red dots are enemy's its a bandit camp to the north of us we believe the chieftain are there.
in the forest just north of us are it a few archer, we are not 100% sure but the main force is in the farming village to our East. most of the enemy's have clubs and shields not a lot of armor. they are setting the farm buildings on fire. we can use this to help us moving around. the outpost has and archer and one of your friends in the guard towers at the gate. and 3 soldier in the front of the gate.
and 2 inside. The rest of the outpost has fled out the small gate in the back.

you has the element of surprise use it.

you have one day to do your turn. then a will make a second post whit and update map and new turns.

Sneak attack base 3 +2 forest 1-5. miss on 6 if in the open standard 3 +10 on first attack

this time you will have 2 weapons. one range one melee. add your base + the value on the weapon on your roll.

Ok everybody, do you think our group should split up and attack some of the smaller numbers seperatly.

Or stick together, and try to overpower some of them.
The group of three enemies to the north of us (1,E )might be the easiest to start with.

my idea is the purple line for our attack, if we go north first, take out the three as a group, and then double back and split up to take out the two smaller groups burning the cabin (6,D). before planning our next move.

We stay in a group, then move north to put us in range, everyone takes a sneak attack at the three enemies in (1,E).

Continue with normal melee rounds until we win.

Then regroup in (1,E) before we make the next move to the burning cabin.

I agree it's best to stick togeather for the moment and start by over powering the 3 in 1E by sneaking up on them through the woods. I would want to see how that goes before deciding how to proceed from there though.

on select your target and good ide is:
eksempel: attacks the enemy in 1e the left one.

move: our group of 7 moves through the wood to surprise the three enemy soldiers. and prepares a surprise attack against them.

Since I am part of this group, I'll post my actions here.

I'll target a different opponent, and throw a javelin to attack.

I sneak up through the woods with everyone else and stop to quickly access the situation before attacking. I roll @rollthedice for my sneak attack. With a firm grip on my metal javelin, I attack the closest enemy to me shoving my javelin into the enemy's torso hitting a vital organ. @rolld20

So I think that means 3 hits on the War Chieftan for 6 damage total.

methus arrows destroyed the War Chieftan armor and the last arrow hit him in the chest doing 2 damage. he has 2 hit points left

Does talking count as an action? Could I suggest to the Archer in the other tower to try to hit the War Chieftan? If so, I would like to.

no it do not. the archer things is a good ide when its his turn he Will try to take him down.

For the next turn, I think we should move to the burning cabin (6,D) as they are distracted by the fire and we can surprise them. I'll take the right (7,D) with 3 good men, and the other 3 will take the left side (5,D).

the two groups to the north seem more fortified and ready to fight right now, while the enemies to the East are sparse, spread out and distracted. if we take them out next, we will out number the intruders!
