🌹 Rosesopenweekend 🌹 - the first rose after the storm.
Ophelia, the biggest and most devastating storm to hit Ireland since 1961 destroyed all of my roses. Usually they bloom prolifically from early Summer until December outside the front of my cottage. But every single flower and bud were blown off.
But this is the first flower that has grown since the storm. So far it is the only one. I have captured it as is, and then edited the photo for the second entry. I hope you like them.
Photo taken with Sony Xperia Xa and edited with Snapseed.

What a beautiful bloom after a terrible storm. It brings hope for more blooms...
Thank you. When I took this photo there were no more buds anywhere. I guess it will take time, but nature is strong.
thank you sir
At least there's one...usually it takes ages for one to bloom after a storm.
It's very small. The photo somehow seems to make it look larger. The tiniest I have ever had, but at least it brings life to the bush. 😊
It's cute..am happy with it :)
thank you sir
