Rohingya Refugees: A Humanitarian Crisis

When I visited one of the impoverished countries , Bangladesh a few days ago , I happened to see that almost many news papers were extensively covering the Rohinya refugee issue almost every day .It was quite heartwrenching to see millions of people suffering atrocities and barbarism,and more so to see them leading stateless life. Bangladesh has been trying to tackle the situtaion at least on a humanitarian ground eventough by their law The Rohinyas are defined as tresspasser or intruders. If we look at this situation from larger perspective ,this refugee problem should be the serious concern of all the so called civilized countries and the people across the world.Myanmar , country which has Ang Sang Suki , a noble prize winner, as it's head of state is expected to take urgent initiative to mitigate the overwhelming ramifications of this problem .Meanwhile other countries should also have united effort to support for humanitarian relief to the refugees and then amicable and permanent solutions to this problem.They should not interpret the current problem - at least this humanitarian crisis in different ways which only adds fuel to the devastating fire. All the international community should now work for symphony, not cacophony!
