#RockClassics & #MetalWeekend - Metallica - 72 Seasons - new album

Hi,

for today's #RockClassics by @uwelang and #MetalWeekend by @detlev, we have a new album release by the band legend, Metallica.

It is called 72 Seasons and has 12 tracks. It is the 11th album of the band, and the 2nd released on their own label, Blackened

There have been 4 singles launched before: Lux Æterna, Screaming Suicide, If Darkness Had a Son, and the album name giver 72 Seasons.

I like that it is again a real trash/heavy metal album.

It has no ballads, but this is not a bad thing. A back to the roots album, without having the sound of before. It is fresh metal.

The whole length of 77 minutes is full of power.

The lyrics are done most of James Hetfield and the hard influence of Lars Ulrich is felt in the sound.

My favourite is If Darkness Had a Son, don't know why, but I like the sound of it.

For me, the album is good, was expecting it to be good, but not this type of good.

They will be in Munich for two concerts, where I hope to get a ticket to enter.
