Welp, it's about that time, eh chaps? Time for another Road to Steemfest post? The topic for this week, brought on by @anomadsoul, is fears. Fears about Steemfest and what may or may not happen there.
What could possibly be to fear about going to a conference full of people you only read about or watch on the DTube?
I fear that people will be too awesome that it makes me want to eat my own heart out.
Self harm from being in the presence of the most awesome people on the planet is a condition that affects way more people than you would think. ONE! Me.
So if all y'all Steemians don't mind toning your awesome sauces down a bit while you're at Steemfest so you don't have to see a gruesome display of self-cannibalism... that'd be just great.

I fear that I will have too much fun that I'll develop a sudden case of epilepsy.
I'm going to be super careful not to let y'all sucker me into having too much of the good times. This is for everyone's sake, really. Since having random bouts of seizures is extremely contagious when it comes to having fun. Here is proof:
If this isn't one of your top fears on your own road to Steemfest, you need to take a closer look at reality. Have fun responsibly and in moderation. We don't want to turn Steemfest into a seizure party... And also, what ever you do, NO SHORT PANTS WITH WHITE TIGHTS!!! That should also be on my list of fears because, hello, stuff of nightmares... and while we're at it, no clown makeup or T-Rex costumes either.

I fear that I will make too many friends.
What if I make more than 2? What am I supposed to do with that many friends? What is there possibly to do with a group of more than 3 people? How do you interact? How do popular people live with themselves?
I just don't want to over-complicate my life.

Man... I just can't help it that sauce is awesome! Those pants with white tights look pretty good to me to... I'm like super cereal. Gonna go looking in my local ASDA for a pair tomorrow 😂
