The goal of the Blockchain Initiative is to support teachers and graduate students in the study of blockchain, as well as to teach students basic concepts of cryptomir.

Program participants hope that this contribution of Ripple will help to attract students' interest to the crypto industry. By the end of 2018, McCombs will provide a distribution plan.

This investment is part of the global Ripple project, in which educational institutions around the world will receive $ 50 million to study the potential of distributed registry technology. Among the recipients of these funds are 17 international institutions.

Recall, in April Ripple invested $ 25 million in the new crypto-currency fund Blockchain Capital.
