What is going on with Ripple
But back to the Ripple thing, due to its centralized system, a lot of people believe that is why they are getting the green light by banks. Makes sense, if there is a issue then you have someone to talk too. Imagine if Chase sent 4 billion to B of A and someone messed up the address, who do you talk to on a decentralized system?
News keeps coming out on Ripple signing up bank after bank, curious to see how many continue to sign up. I feel this is going to be the first big adoption of the blockchain tech by the business world.
I think Ripple has advantages and disadvantages. In this case, it's advantages are also advantageous to centralized institutions. So that's why it's being promoted more by banks.
All I can simply say is don't panic

Ripple is doing a great job of getting into the banks and business sector. Just a few weeks ago it was announced that western union was looking to use Ripple to speed up transfers. The more Ripple gets adopted the bigger the market share they will see. So much potential still to come with Ripple.

Actually the exact scenario you mentioned of someone sending millions to the wrong account just occurred the other day, I believe it was $6 million and was indeed a bank. lol
If this is the first step then I'd better get on board. I'm new and a little shall I say "bullish" lol. I just have my lil ole steem coins. Maybe this is a sign to branch out and take chances.

Is it really tru that banks are jumping on board with ripple? If they are this could be a huge move and it could lead to ripple mooning
