My opinion

This season began with controversy. before the premier the fans already knew several actors in the cast would retire from the series, including Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohen, who played Rick and Maggie respectively. It was inconceivable to me that a character like Rick retired from the series so abruptly, considering it was known that he would not even reach the half of season.

The last chapter with Rick was spectacular. The writers knew how to give a very worthy context for the character. As a fan I was very satisfied with the result.
