This is the second two-cour series Trigger after Kill La Kill. As I said earlier in JOI Spotlight, I much prefer this series to Kill Kill Kill thanks to its more focused themes and stories. Akko is a sucking wizard who tries to be a witch who is not too lame to inspire more people from start to finish. I myself tend to like the fantasy story where the fantasy of the world begins dying, either because of the loss of magic or technology that has been pursued, even through the utility of magic.

Thanks to the worldbuilding effort, Little Witch Academia actually still holds a lot of potential stories. As Chariot is "paralyzed" and starts searching for heirs, Akko is beginning to fly, deepening the background of other seknder characters, other school visits, and much more. Yoshinari himself said it took 3 seasons to tell all the stories he wanted to convey, so I still hope Akko's adventure will continue.

If there is one thing I really love from this season, Chariot plotline is rushed so the build-up is not enough. Personally I would also appreciate that Dream Fuel Spirit from the beginning is a Chariot idea and not a hoax from Croix, it can make it a more tragic and interesting character.
