- Do you vote for a witness who is friendly with abusers on Steemit?

- Do you use your voting power to upvote nothing-posts from abusers, who will then use the extra power you have given them to abuse you more?

- Do you pay for your own upvotes that you were always intended to receive just for posting quality content? And do you do so while knowing that the person selling you the vote is getting more powerful each time, and thus perpetuating the need for you to buy more votes in future?
If yes, then you are definitely fucking retarded.
- Do you join in and embarrassingly attempt to mock the very few on this platform who have sacrificed so much for you, all so that you can look cool to the people who are fucking you on a daily basis?
If yes, then you are retarded- and pathetic.
- Do you still think that Steemit is about transparency when we have members of the Steemit dev team censoring people's posts, page views being removed making it easier to shadow censor, and the shutting down of the only decent block explorer that you don't have to pay to use?

It is time to stop using your voting power to oppress yourself further. Vote for a witness that is against vote-selling. @ausbitbank is who I have given my proxy vote too for this very reason.
But beyond witnesses. Vote for good content instead of which content you think will get you a vote back, and perhaps we might end up with a trending page inviting enough to draw some whales with integrity to this platform.
Lastly, stop buying votes. It's like paying "friends" to hang about with you and pretend they like you. Only it's far more pathetic than that, because it's also creating a demand for the voting-bots that are ruining this place and making the greediest of us the most powerful.

Did you know that if no user paid for a vote for a few days, and the voting-bots' power went unclaimed, everyone else's voting power on the platform would increase in order to compensate for the unused power?
In other words. If people just stopped buying votes, the whales would be forced to go back to voting if they wanted to continue to earn curation rewards. And if they did not, our power would increase so that we could reward one another fairly and hopefully adequately.

I haven't done that in so long. It's good of you to be welcoming new people in with a vote. The whales used to do that too back in the day. It's getting really hard for new accounts who don't have the funds nor the foolishness to buy votes, so I'm glad someone hasn't forgotten about them.
The struggle when we all got here is still fresh in my mind, and the sp came for free, so I thought why not go and give some votes to people that will appreciate it the most, I only have it for 6 days, so might as well make a few newbies feel loved.

I have been watching how no one seems to care about abuse as long as they are making a good bit for themselves. It's made me realise how they're gonna get away with another world war. My guess is that the war will kick off right as all the cryptos get pumped. And everyone is too distracted by their profits and what they want to buy to care about the Middle-East. I don't know though. Could the people really be so easily pacified?
I don't really know what you mean by pacified. Do you mean that they can make peace and prevent the wars or do you mean get used with what is going to happen and simply ignore it. I really hope it is the first version...
I keep asking myself just how can I convience a massive self upvoter not to upvote himself anymore. How to make him realize that if he helps this community also, its growth will mean a massive growth in the price of Steem also, and same time a growth in the value of his stake.

I can agree with that too, your words were good enough so that I could understand that you are talking about a diversion from the beginning. You mean that there will be starting a new actual war with guns firing and people dying? I really hope not, because I am living in a pretty poor and weak country between Russia and Europe (somehow in Europe, but not that much) and I don't think this country at all will be able to survive a war.

You have no reason to worry. I suspect the UK may be at risk once we've left the EU, but if you are part of the EU still then you will be just fine. We won't though if we let things get that far. Here in the UK we will learn what we get for leaving the EU, while watching what countries such as yours avoided by remaining in it. And when we are begging to get back in so we can have some of what you still have, we will find that the EU no longer exists, and that it is the GU - Global Union - that now wants us to say yes.
