Contest Ends - Did They Work?
Hi Friends,
Two days ago I posted a contest on my blog asking the question “Do They Still Work?” (in reference to the earphones going through the washer and dryer) and all you had to do was get the answer right with a “yes” or a “no” in a comment, and the winners would split a 100% upvote.
Well, the contest submission timeframe has ended and the winner is… “YES”!
Surprisingly to me, the Apple earphones still worked perfectly after going through the washer and the dryer. I wouldn’t have guessed that, but most of the people got the answer right, so you all are smarter than me! (or maybe have more experience leaving your earphones in your pants pocket)
There were 9 people who made the right guess of “yes”, so a 100% upvote split 9 ways is an 11% upvote each (worth more than 10 cents). I have already upvoted the comments accordingly!

I said yes and knew haha. Few days ago my usb was forgotten in the washer too, but it works now as before.
That's more or less the case for any electronics, it's not the water itself but shorts that can happen when the electronics are in water with power to them.
