Is there a time limit... i.e. if I make just 10 posts in 30 days, does my subscription then end?... or will subscription only end after 2 or 3 months if it takes me that long to make 30 posts?

@braaiboy good point! I should have made that clear, I will edit my posts.
The subscription does NOT expire, if you publish 30 posts in 1 year they will all be resteemed.
