How to research your crypto investments and earn money

in #research7 years ago

In this article i am going to give you guys some sugegestions on how to research your investments. This is written just to point you to the right direction and give you an idea how to do propper research.

Below are some techniques for you to do your own research and how to find the next coins to invest in.

BitcoinTalk

"BitcoinTalk is a message board where people interested in the technical details and the development of Bitcoin software can talk to each other. The forum also has places for people who are interested in bitcoin mining, in trading with bitcoin, and in the economics of Bitcoin." https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/BitcoinTalk

BitcoinTalk is super useful and i cant stress this enough.
Protips using BitcoinTalk:

  1. Auto-Refresh: Get an auto-refresh extension for your browser and set it to every 5 minutes for the altcoin announcements board, this will automatically refresh the page for you to check on when you feel like it, allowing you to see new coins literally AS SOON as they are announced.
  2. Read the posts: Yes, read the posts. When I say use bitcointalk, I mean look at the feedback, not just the thread OP (because obviously they are trying to sell their coin to you, they won't tell you the pros and cons, the feedback will). -
  3. Subscribe to threads: Subscribe to threads that you are invested into, or are keeping an eye on for the future. This is the best (and only way) to keep track of where your money is and where your money could be.

Slack Channels

Slack brings all your communication together in one place. Alot of coins, such as stratis, siacoin, TenX, QRL etc have slack channels where core devs will hangout, provide updates, big upcomming news and so forth. They spoon feed you the information you need for your information as well as other investors willing to share theur views and interests. How do you find slack channels? Usually they are posted in the Bitcointalk ANN of the coin you arre researching. Not all coins have this but the coins in which do and have a active developer team are ones you should take a good note of.

Google

Alot of people like to tell you what coins to buy or not, and ofent the can be people trying to promote scam coins. This is why google can be a good source to find out if they are recommending a legit coin or not.

Before you invest, look for news. Google "xcoin news" and set the search tool for the last week or month. Read as much as you can find and note the pros and cons. Once you have a big list of pros and cons, decide whether you think it's worth it for short term, long term, or not at all.

Social media

Setup a twitter account and follow alot of the coins you are invested / plan on investing in. This will allow you to login every day yo see whats good with each one of your investments.

Remember, it doesnt matter if you have alot of money or not. The real value comes of knowledge!

An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. - Benjamin Franklin

Hope this will help you to make wise decisions with your money and most of all, hitting the green!

Good luck!
