SINKING SAND CASTLES

There has always been an array of people for whom Bible Christianity is seen as a house of cards. They reject the Bible and its teachings wholesale and base their objections on what people who claim to be Christians do or find some Bible teaching they disagree with and proceed to disregard all of it.

Philippians 3:18-19
18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

But these days, even though there are no new arguments against Bible Christianity, there's certainly a new aggressive and more rebellious attitude. People like Ray Kurzweil and Elon Musk, two technology giants who believe they can achieve eternal life, not through Jesus Christ, but rather through the fusion of man and machine or what's more commonly known as "the singularity."

Matthew 7:26
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

The Bible predicts that one day, these elites will get what they long for, but when they do, they won't want it for very long.

Revelation 9:5-6
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

Christianity isn’t going to go away and just because our technology becomes more advanced, and those who reject Biblical Salvation scream louder, Bible Christianity has durability because Jesus Christ is eternal in the heavens, and the house of those who reject Him is built on sinking sand.
