Melissa who was in college bumped into Robert on her way to her hostel in a rush to avoid the rain, her book fell and in an attemp to pick them up she made do with some of Roberts notes and dropped hers. Inorder to retrieve his notes from melissa, he traced her to her hostel and exchanged the notes. They became friends and Robert started tutoring her privately. They became close and after a while Melissa's mom died and left her with a lot of cash and a house.
All through the burial Robert was there for her and they became intimate. After which she made the mistake of telling him abt the tons of cash her momma left her including the property. Even though her sisters were against her dating Robert. She got im a car,dropped out of sch just to be able to pay for the battery project he is working on. She noticed he had stopped calling her after she bought him the car, in an attempt to settle her doubts she went to his parking space and caught him cheating on her. Due to the anger and distaste she felt @ that moment she crashed her car into his garage and ended up in an hospital due to an internal bleeding.
Her sisters stopped him from seeing her but due to the fact that she still loved him despite evrytn, she decided to hear wat he has to say.
He apologized and they soon came bk together. Robert lost his scholarship and as a result she had to drop out of college and substitute her college fee for his with the hope that he will graduate someday, get a job and take care of her. Be it as it may, the day came and Robert graduated from college. She was so happy, dat she felt her luck was beginning to shine. Robert went 4 series of interviews bt was nt given a job because of his criminal records. She felt devasted having to hear this and continued taking care of him. She did this for 18years, spent every last kobo she made for either battery for his battery project, electricity bill, e.t.c.
She became tired of the kind of life she was living and suggested he get a job. He tried but couldn't get a decent one, even the ones he got couldnt pay for the toiletries.
He still cajoled her into mortgaging her mother's house just to fund the battery project.and after years of suffering and just wen she couldnt bear t again, she filed 4 a divorce after catching the husband with the same lady he cheated on her with. She sent im packing and he took up a job with a restaurant, scrubbing plates. Robert and the lady got acquainted and she got him an investor to fund his battery project. He finally got his first pay and decided to pay his ex-wife bk for her troubles. He bought the mortgaged house bk and gave it to her, gave her $10m a car. Melissa wanted her man bk because she dint know where to start from and others were not Robert. But it seems Robert has moved on.. Thats where the war started btw the ex-wife and the fiancee who melissa claimed has been dating her husband b4 they divorced. Robert claimed melissa left him. Bt melissa couldnt let him go. She started threatning Robert's Wife-to-be and couldn't take it when Robert fulfilled all the dreams they had with his so called wife-to-be. Robert and his wife-to-be charged melissa to court and she was restrained from seeing both Robert and his wife-to-be. Melissa lived in regret and vowed to get her man bk. In an attempt to do that she shot Robert and drowned herself in the process.
