I do not know how long have you being married but i think it's all a lottery. Nothing you can do about it, except YOUR BEST and if you are lucky things will go your way. Financial stability and free time is a big degrading factor of your marriage. A good amount of both and you maybe closer to happyness than if you are missing one.
The most important thing is understanding each others needs etc. if you want a long fulfilling relationship and I believe a lot of men/women do not . That's why there are a lot of break ups/ divorces.
