Behind every great woman is a man checking out her ass.
Just joking...I am far from an expert in men but I would like to sum up some of my ideas based on my experience, first of all for myself, how to make your man happy with you and be happy yourself.
First of all, for any man without exception the opinion of a woman is important. Moreover, a man taking into consideration this opinion is ready to heroic exploits. There is a phrase "A man remains impressed by the impression he made on a woman". Many men pretend that they are not interested in women but they are just not mature enough to accept it. It is a long way ahead: first he needs to accept it and then he needs to change improper attitude to women.
So, some ideas for women how to be happy together:
1. A man should leave home with full stomach and empty balls. This is the main rule. Everybody knows that the shortest way to the man's heart is through his stomach. And all men love sex. For most them it is the most important thing in the world. The Briton Sheridan Simove published a book called "What Every Man Thinks About Apart From Sex" in which there were no pages with any text. There were 200 empty pages with a hard cover. In spite of it the book has become a bestseller in the Great Britain.
2. A woman shall give a man the status of a smart, successful, strong and purposeful man. The secret is easy. The woman just needs to wisely admire a man, give him love, care, tenderness and warmth. It will make him to develop, to become the best because you believe in him, in his success and luck.
There is an anecdote:
A woman and her husband, a President, are passing by a gas station and see the
wife's ex boy - friend.
The husband: You see, if you got married to him you would be a wife of just a gas station employee.
The wife: I don't think so as if he was my husband he would be A President.
There is a phrase that every successful man has a woman behind him who supports him. May be it is overvalued but if a wife is constantly complaining about the husband, he would spend all his resources for resolving this conflict, probably by just avoiding her, but not on achieving a goal. I would say that «Behind a great man there is a woman». Behind a decayed one too and she could be the cause even. And, of course, not all great men had women.

3. Set high requirements for your husband
Huge energy of a man will be unleashed if a woman asks a man to do difficult things. Then he feels he is high valued, that he is worth with trust. He mobilizes forces and wants to handle the task. The praise, admiration with his achievements and success are very important for men. And don't forget to reward him, for ideas how, see point 1.
4. Respect his mom. His mom is the first woman in his life and you shall respect her. You shall try to become friends with her. Don't be jealous if they are too close. In any case you are the woman in bed with him and not her (let's hope so) and that's what gives you more power and influence.
5. Let him go out with his friends. Men need to relax. They shall spend some time without you. Perhaps he would even miss you but in all reality; don't count on it. And if you are afraid that he is spending time with another woman, see point 1.
6. Let him have a hobby. One of my friends has a husband who is fond of music and it irritates her as he is sitting at the computer too long. There are pluses; at least he is not drinking and cheating on her somewhere else. Perhaps it would be good to discuss a time limit. And make sure he is not visiting dating or porno sites. But again point 1 will help you to avoid it.
It would be perfect if you can find similar interests, you will find a lot to talk about and will spend much time together. But leave a hobby just for himself. It is a sacred area and too much time together can be a relationship killer.
7. Try to accept him like he is. You have chosen him, don't change him. May be if he changes you will stop loving him.
8. Don't try to prove you are smarter. Men hate that. Just be wise as a man is a head and a woman is a neck. He will turn his head where the neck says but he will be thinking he did it by himself.

9. Work on yourself. Men treat women how they allow them to behave with them. Respect yourself, men will respect you.
Find peace and balance in yourself, depressed woman can not make happy couples.
10. Trust he can make a decision by himself.
Men shall feel that you need him, that he is your foundation even if you think you could handle it by yourself. Try to seem weak, give him a chance to be strong. Unfortunately life made women very strong, so we can't relax even with a strong man. But your weakness is a chance for a man's development. Be a woman. Not an iron man.

I myself am with a lady who has to do everything important for herself for virtually over ten years.
Now in the spirit of compromise she simply says " so what do you think dear ? what is your opinion ! "
So I venture my opinion . . .
She respectfully listens; then says " thank you for those thoughts , now just do it my way ! ! ! "
Simply put after so long she feels it is easier to trust her own judgement and risk being wrong rather than become passive and give over the decision making control to another, often her thoughts are about not the best outcome but the outcome with the least risks she might have to try and fix later ! ! !

While some of this might be true; truly people really must consider what sort of personality could choose to hook up with a professional politician . . .
To see the lackeys and sycophantic groupies hanging around professional politicians is slightly nauseating, but to choose to spend ones life linked to a professional politician.
Not to try and make something useful of oneself but just to simply sponge off putting up with a professional leech, it simply defies imagination what sort of personality could choose to do that . . .
How these people can stand to be seen with such personalities is simply beyond imagination ! ! !
