Many years ago, I used to work in a fish processing plant where we salted mackerel. We sold that salted mackerel to the Caribbeans. I wonder if some of it was consumed with this fruit. :-)
Thank you for your comment, my friend, it is likely that the fish in your work has been accompanied with this fruit. It is traditional in Caribbean foods, although it is of African origin spread throughout the Caribbean hugs.
